Crèditbaixa is a life insurance policy that covers you in the event of being on sick leave. This policy guarantees the payment of a fixed daily allowance for the period that the insured person is unable to work as a result of sickness or accident. 

The Crèditbaixa policy is ideal for those engaged in an income-earning activity and registered with CASS as salaried insured persons.

  • No excess for sick leave due to an occupational accident or work-related illness.
  • With an excess of 2, 7, 15 or 30 days (to be chosen at the time the policy is taken out) for sick leave caused by common illness or a non-occupational accident.

  • The maximum benefit period is 12 months of income supplement.
  • In addition, you can benefit from a 10% discount on the premium during the first 6 months of the policy simply by having your salary paid directly into your account.
  • Complementary reimbursement cover of up to 90% of your net salary (85% of the gross salary reported to CASS).
  • If the persons insured under Crèditbaixa die between the age of 18 and 65, the insurance policy will pay a lump-sum compensation of up to 60,000 euros depending on the sum insured.
  • Sick leave due to lumbago, back pain or lumbosciatica will be compensated for a maximum period of 15 days per calendar year (bearing in mind that the calendar year runs from 1 January to 31 December).

  • There is no affiliation period if the client who takes out the insurance policy has changed company and has already served these affiliation periods for an equivalent product with the previous company.
